We offer FREE individual counseling services to survivors of domestic & sexual violence, provided by a counselor with specific training in these issues. This service is available to all who need it, regardless of income. Individual counseling is extremely beneficial (and can be vital) for recovery from violent and traumatic experiences.
Our Support Group for victims & survivors of domestic violence is facilitated by a professional counselor and focuses on education, safety planning, and empowerment. Participants in Support Group report feeling a sense of encouragement and camaraderie that help them feel less alone in their healing. Group meets on Tuesday nights at 6:00pm, with a family-style meal served at 5:30pm.
Our Children’s Program meets at the same time as Support Group, and is for children of all ages who have witnessed domestic violence in their homes. Our programming is therapeutic in nature and focuses on non-violence education and communication skills. Children receive support in processing what they have seen and heard in a safe and fun atmosphere.
