Counseling Support

We want to help you and your children navigate the emotional toll of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.

Finding the right therapist can be a lengthy process. In recent years, Flathead County resources have been overwhelmed. You may need to reach out to multiple providers until you find one who is a good fit and has availability. This does not mean you are beyond help! You are worthy of healing, and healing takes time.

Our counseling:

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Individual counseling is extremely beneficial for recovery from violent and traumatic experiences.

If you have health insurance, please reach out to one of our partners.

We also offer a limited mental health scholarship for people who are uninsured or cannot afford counseling on their own. You might be able to receive up to 10 sessions with one of our partner providers.

If you are interested in the scholarship, please fill out the form below.

SUPPORT GROUP

Our weekly Support Group for survivors of domestic and sexual violence is facilitated by a trained professional and focuses on education, healing, and empowerment. Participants report feeling a sense of encouragement and camaraderie that helps them feel less alone in their journey.

Group meets on Tuesday nights in person at 6:00pm, with a free meal at 5:30pm.

KIDS GROUP

Our Kids Group meets at the same time as Support Group and provides safe and loving child care for children while the parent attends Support Group. With a high adult to child ratio and activities that focus on healthy communication, our Kids Group advocates are trained to care for children who have experienced trauma.
